Film Construction
SUN-GARD Optivision film is a two-ply product manufactured utilizing a layer of clear polyester laminated to an aluminum vapor-deposited layer. Dyes are added to the adhesive that permanently bonds the two layers of polyester together. This color in the laminating adhesive is used to neutralize the often undesirable exterior reflectivity associated with other types of reflective films.

Film Construction
SUN-GARD’s NOVA Premium films are manufactured using sputter-metallized materials. Sputtering allows the use of high-grade alloys or combinations of alloys which results in the various colors and levels of reflectivity. The mounting adhesive is a high-heat resistant, acrylic pressure-sensitive system, which contains UV screeners and stabilizers.
The products are also protected by a durable, UV cured, scratch-resistant coating.
